Política de privacidad
Last updated September 29, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Telesto collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Telesto: Inventory Management (“Telesto”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is a product of RedTracker LLC. It covers the Telesto apps for phones, tablets and desktop and the website www.telesto.app (together, the “Service”). If you have any questions, write to us at Email.
The short version
- You need an account to use Telesto. To create one we ask for your email address and a password.
- Your inventory data, such as products, quantities, locations, suppliers, customers and orders, is stored on our servers so you can reach it from your devices and share it with the people you invite to your account.
- We do not show ads, and we do not sell your personal information.
- We never see or store your card details. Subscriptions are billed by the App Store or Google Play.
- We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run the Service (hosting, email, payment validation, push notifications and IP location lookup), all listed below.
- You can delete your account and all of its data at any time from the app.
Who we are
Telesto is inventory-management software published by RedTracker LLC. For your account information, RedTracker LLC is the data controller. For the business data you enter about your own customers and suppliers, you are the controller and we act as your processor (see “Information you enter about other people” below).
Information we collect
Account information
When you create an account we collect your email address, a password and your preferred language. We store your password only in hashed form (using bcrypt); we never store your actual password. If you sign in with Apple, we receive the identifier Apple provides. In Settings you can optionally add a business name and other company details, such as a phone number, website and logo, which are used on the documents you generate, such as invoices and purchase orders. If you invite employees or teammates to your account, we store their email address (and a name, if you give one) so they can sign in.
Location from your IP address
When your device connects to our servers, we receive your IP address. We use a third-party service, ipinfo.io, to look up the approximate location associated with that IP address (country, region, city and time zone); your IP address is sent to ipinfo.io only to perform this lookup. We use the result to set your currency and region, to help prevent abuse, and to comply with restrictions on where the Service is available. We store your IP address and the derived country, city and time zone with your account and in our sign-in and security records. Telesto does not use your device’s GPS or precise location.
Your inventory and business data
Telesto stores the data you create while using it, so that it is available on your devices and to the people you invite. This includes your products (including photos, barcodes and SKUs, prices, quantities, variants, batches and serial numbers), categories, locations and warehouses, stock movements and transactions, purchase orders, sales orders, invoices and documents, projects, departments and your settings. This information is stored on our servers, it is yours, and we access it only as needed to provide and support the Service.
Information you enter about other people (customers and suppliers)
Telesto lets you record details about your business contacts, such as a customer’s or supplier’s name, company, email address, phone number, address, VAT or registration number and notes. You decide what to enter, and you are responsible for having the right to provide it. We store and process this information only to provide Telesto to you, acting on your instructions as your processor. When you delete this data, or delete your account, it is removed from our systems.
Purchases and subscriptions
Telesto offers optional paid plans. Purchases are made through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are billed to your Apple or Google account. We never receive or store your card or payment details. To confirm and manage your subscription, the store’s receipt is validated through our payment-validation provider. We keep a record of your subscription: the plan, its status and expiration date, and the store transaction identifiers, linked to your account. You manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
Push notifications
If you allow notifications, we use OneSignal (which relies on the platform’s push service, such as Google’s Firebase Cloud Messaging on Android) to send them. For this we store a push identifier for your installation. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.
Sign-in and security records
To keep accounts secure we keep records such as your sign-in history (including the date, IP address and derived location), rate-limiting data and a list of blocked addresses. We send you an email when a new sign-in to your account is detected.
Emails and feedback
We send you service emails, such as a welcome email, email verification, password-reset codes, sign-in notifications, subscription receipts, low-stock alerts, and occasional product news. These are delivered through our email provider, Mailgun. Some emails include standard open- and click-tracking so we can tell whether they were delivered and useful. If you contact us or send feedback, we use your email address and message only to reply and to improve Telesto.
Website, analytics and cookies
Our website, www.telesto.app, uses Matomo, an analytics tool that we host ourselves, to count visits and see which pages are popular. It may set first-party cookies (for example, cookies whose names begin with “_pk_”), and this information is not shared with advertisers. The website may also set a cookie to remember your cookie choices and, where you are signed in, a session cookie. Our servers keep standard access logs (such as IP address, browser and pages visited) for security and troubleshooting. Telesto does not show ads.
How we use information
- To provide Telesto and its features, and to sync your data across your devices and team.
- To create and secure your account, and to notify you of new sign-ins.
- To process and validate your subscription.
- To send you service messages and, where relevant, low-stock alerts.
- To set your region and currency, and to prevent abuse and fraud.
- To understand how the Service is used, fix problems and improve it.
- To reply to your messages.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information and we do not show ads. We share information only with the service providers that help us run Telesto, and only what each one needs:
- Amazon Web Services: hosting our servers and database (located in the European Union, in Frankfurt, Germany).
- Apple and Google: app distribution and in-app purchases.
- Mailgun: sending our emails.
- OneSignal (and the platform push service, for example Google Firebase Cloud Messaging): delivering push notifications.
- ipinfo.io: looking up the approximate location of an IP address.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Telesto, our users or others; and in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case this policy continues to apply to your information.
Where your information is stored
Our database and servers are hosted with Amazon Web Services in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany), and some of our providers operate in the United States and other countries. This means your information may be processed outside your own country, with the safeguards required by applicable law.
How long we keep information
- Your account and its data are kept until you delete them, or until your account is removed for prolonged inactivity. Accounts that have been inactive for about six months, and accounts that are never verified within about three weeks, may be deleted automatically.
- Sign-in and security records are kept for as long as needed to keep accounts safe.
- Subscription records are kept for as long as needed for tax and accounting obligations.
Your choices and rights
- Delete your account. The account owner can permanently delete the account and all of its data from within the app. This removes your inventory, business data, customer and supplier records, uploaded photos and account details from our servers. Deleting your account does not cancel a paid subscription; cancel that in your App Store or Google Play account first.
- Access, correction and deletion. Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR in Europe or the CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain uses. Much of this you can do directly in the app; for anything else, email Email. We don’t discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
- Emails. You can unsubscribe from product news and other non-essential emails using the link in them; we will still send essential service messages, such as security and billing notices.
- Notifications. Turn push notifications on or off in your device settings.
- Cookies. Manage cookies through your browser and the cookie notice on our website.
Security
Data sent between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Passwords are stored hashed with bcrypt, and access to your account uses a private token issued to your device. If you enable biometric unlock, it is handled entirely by your device; we never receive your fingerprint or face data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information, including through rate limiting and blocking abusive access.
Children
Telesto is a business tool intended for adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when Telesto changes or when the law requires it. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we will provide a more prominent notice.
