Basic Inventory Transfers

Moving inventory between locations is essential for optimizing stock distribution, consolidating inventory, or fulfilling location-specific demands.

Complete an Inventory Transfer:
  1. Open the Stock Updater module
  2. Tap the Move tab (second tab)
  3. Select the product to transfer
  4. Choose Move From location (origin warehouse)
  5. Choose Move To location (destination warehouse)
  6. Enter the quantity to transfer
  7. Tap Move to execute the transfer
Multiple Product Transfers

For efficiency, you can transfer multiple products in a single operation using the Multiple Transfers feature.

Set Up Multiple Transfers:
  1. Access the Multiple Transfers screen
  2. Set your Move From and Move To locations
  3. Add products using the + button
  4. Specify transfer quantities for each product
  5. Review all transfers before executing
  6. Tap Move to complete all transfers
Advanced Transfer Features
Batch Tracking Integration

When batch tracking is enabled in settings, transfers include additional batch management options:

  • Batch Selection: Choose specific batches from the origin location
  • Batch Cloning: Duplicate batch information in the destination warehouse
  • Expiration Management: Maintain expiration date tracking across locations

The Clone Batch option creates a batch with the same name and expiration date in the destination warehouse, maintaining traceability for perishable goods.

Transport Documentation

With DDT and PPE enabled in settings, transfers can generate official transport documents:

  • Delivery Documentation: Generate transport documents for transfers
  • Digital Signatures: Capture recipient signatures for delivery confirmation
  • PDF Generation: Create printable documents for physical or digital records
Generate Transport Documents:
  1. Enable Generate Transport Document checkbox during transfer
  2. Complete the transfer process
  3. Access the transport document from Movement History
  4. Add recipient signature and delivery details
  5. Save and generate PDF for your records
